On the beautiful Key Peninsula, our students learn rain and shine. Preschool and Co-op programs will open in the fall and will run throughout the year.

We have extended care for fulltime nature based childcare. ​

Program Offerings

Forest

Co-op Preschool
Ages 3-5

Our Co-op preschool is the heart and soul of our work at the Key Peninsula Preschool. Running all school year, your child meets either 2 days or 3 days a week in an indoor classroom.

Forest Friends of the KP
Ages 2.5-5

Forest Friends of the KP is an

all day, immersive experience geared for children yearning for adventure. This class will be a forest school and will be outside rain and shine all year long!

Homeschool Nature

Co-op

This 2 day program

meets in the forest classroom for child-led play with a focus

on developing a love of nature. 

 

Rain or shine, this co-op will be found among the trees!

Infant and Toddler Room

Introducing a brand new childcare for infants and toddlers on the KP! Children ages 3 months-2.5 years can enjoy our indoor classroom designed for their development! ​

Our Mission is to support the children and families of the Key Peninsula by providing high-quality childcare, cooperative preschool programs, nature-based early childhood education, and family resource services. We are devoted to creating an environment that helps children thrive, breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty, and eradicating the childcare desert in our community.
